Information we collect
Depending on what you use, we may collect:
- Your name, username, email address and account details, and the favorite sport and team you choose.
- Shipping addresses, order details, membership status and support messages.
- Business activity connected to your account, such as enrollment, placement, commissions and payout readiness.
- Vault items and the photos you add to them.
- Trade Center posts, offers, messages and reports.
- Identity and tax verification status for payouts. We keep the verification status and the provider’s reference, not raw tax ID numbers or identity documents.
- A hashed (one-way scrambled) form of your email address and IP address, used to limit repeated requests such as sign-ups, password resets, verification emails and guest order recovery.
Payment processing is handled through our payment provider; CollectDirect does not display or store your full card number.
Smart Capture
If you use Smart Capture to add a card to your Vault, the card photo you take or upload is sent to an AI service provider to read the card’s details. If you do not use Smart Capture, your Vault photos are not sent for this processing.
How we use information
- Process memberships and card orders.
- Ship cards and provide tracking.
- Maintain account access and guest order recovery.
- Review refunds, payment issues, fraud prevention, and payout readiness.
- Run the Vault, Trade Center and business tools you use.
- Respond to support requests and improve the site.
Cookies, referrals and account security
We use necessary cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, protect checkout, remember secure guest-order access, keep what you typed on the sign-up form for 10 minutes if it needs correcting (never your password), and remember for up to 30 days that you have agreed to our updated policies, so we don’t check again on every page. When you arrive through an affiliate’s referral link, a cookie remembers that referral for 30 days so the affiliate can be credited if you join or order. Once you sign up with an enroller, that person stays your enroller; a later referral link does not change it. Do not share a guest recovery token or another person’s account access.
What other members can see
- Members above you in your matrix or team can see your full name, username, active status, join date and placement in their team tools.
- In the Trade Center, other members see your username, or your first name and last initial if you have no username.
- Your first name is shown on your invite page to people who open your invite link.
Service providers
We may share the information needed for payment processing, hosting, database operations, AI processing (Smart Capture), email delivery, fraud prevention, shipping, and site delivery with providers that help us operate CollectDirect. We do not need your full payment card number to provide support.
Payment and order information may be shared with our payment processor to complete your payment, and contact and delivery information with fulfillment and shipping providers to deliver your order. Any sharing of cardholder information for a third party’s upsell or other separate purpose must be clearly disclosed before it occurs, with consent where required.
Promotional email choices
Promotional emails must include an easily identifiable unsubscribe link. You may also contact support@collectdirect.com to stop promotional emails. Opting out of promotions does not stop necessary order, billing, security or account-service messages, and does not cancel a paid membership. To stop recurring membership charges, use Membership billing or contact support.
Affiliate team information
Affiliate business tools use enrollment relationships, placement, membership status and qualification information to explain team activity and earnings. Access is restricted to authorized business-support purposes. Affiliates may not sell, publish, scrape or use private team information for unrelated marketing. Full payment credentials, identity documents and tax information are not shared with an affiliate’s team.
Children
CollectDirect accounts are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Retention and requests
Information may need to be retained for active services, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Inactive account and genealogy records may be needed to preserve placement and support reactivation: an inactive account does not expire automatically, so its enroller and matrix position are kept for a later return. That does not mean everything is kept forever. Information that is no longer needed for these purposes is removed under our retention practices, and you may ask us to close your account and delete what we are not required to keep. Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights that apply to you. We will explain any applicable verification or retention requirements; account cancellation does not necessarily delete transaction records.
Photos and testimonials
We obtain separate permission before using a person’s photo, video or testimonial in advertising. Opening an account alone does not grant that permission.
Your choices
You may contact support@collectdirect.com to ask about your account information, correct details, or request help with an order. We may need to verify your identity before making account or privacy changes.
Updates
We may update this policy as CollectDirect grows. The current version will remain available on this page.
